Notes: The moon rises behind a distant ridge which is covered by trees to end another long night of astrophotography. This photo was taken in May 2005 at Ebenwaldhöhe, Lower Austria, using the 4.9" Wright-Newtonian telescope, which has a focal length of 475mm. Thermal effects slightly distort the left edge of the moon. The exposure time was 1/160s at ISO 1600.
