This page contains mostly twilight and startrail photographs. These images I usually take casually at observing sites whenever I notice a nice composure of astronomical and foreground objects, or beautiful twilight colors in the sky, or special weather conditions, or something similar. Having collected enough of them over the years, I decided to publish them here.
Usually I don't take notes of sky conditions, camera settings or exposure times when
taking such images (in contrast to "real" astro images). Taking notes wouldn't do me much
good, anyway, because the light conditions are different every time and
results usually can't be reproduced in exactly the same way.
Some people might consider these shots even more beautiful than deep-sky
photographs (which are much harder to take). These photographs remember me
of the beauty of staying at night under a starry sky at a remote
observation site.
