Two trees at Ebenwaldhöhe

Ebenwaldhöhe Trees at Dusk 2020-04-23

Ebenwaldhöhe Startrails with Trees 2020-04-23

Two images taken at one of my oldest favorite obervation sites about an hour's drive from Vienna, Austria: The Ebenwaldhöhe in Lower Austria, a plateau about 1000m high in the Austrian Pre-Alps, just far enough from Vienna not to suffer too much by the city's light pollution and remote enough for only minor local light pollution of nearby villages. However, the sky above the obervation site became somewhat brighter during the last two decades, even at the zenith.

Two trees, without leaves in April 2020, flank the western side of the gravel parking lot. I have used them as foreground for my photo of the dusk sky as well as for my timelapse video (YouTube Link). 190 individual images of the timelapse video, taken within an hour, were combined for the startrail image.
